Speyside New Years Day Walk

What better to do on New Years Day than go for a long walk, our tradition is to go somewhere new, new for us this New Years just happened to be a walking path called The Leakin which starts at our neighbours farm and leads back into a lost and secret glen in Speyside. The beginning of the walk provides a great view back at our little cottage and a maginifecent view of Ben Rinnes. As the walk unfolded we roughly followed Allte Arder as it flowed and bubbled through the silent Glen, we came upon an old Croft which was the perfect spot to toast in the New Year with some hot mulled wine. Standing at this tiny Croft taking in the looking full cirlce vista, we wondered who lived here? And what a magnificent spot to spend your days. Happy New Year!
